Fruit tree problems

My fruit trees have some kinda moss all over them. They are dying. Not sure if it’s the moss’s fault. I am noticing that the limbs with moss are dead and the new limbs without moss will sprout leaves. What do you think is going on with these?

It looks like lichen to me. It’s not the lichen which causes the tree decline, rather lichen that advanced is a symptom of a tree already in decline.

It’s time to plant another tree.

I could only post one picture but this is the same on all of my fruit trees for a total of six

How old are the trees and what kinds are they? Are they all dying?
