@Tiirsys …. when it comes to flavor.. lettuce really brings nothing to the table. I can take it.. or leave it.
Bacon and tomato are the main players.
My wife insist on mayo.. but I do NOT like mayo.
If we do bread.. it is sourdough.
Often we use chaffles instead.. made from mostly mozzarella and parmigiana and egg and seasonings.

My first plums!! Santa Rosa… now how do I tell if they are ripe for picking? The one closest is a maybe, the others need a couple days I think. The color isn’t there.
And my first peaches… we get a thunderstorm just as they are looking like they are close! Still hard.
A few days ago I noticed that sap coming out the butt!! 
Last grape harvest. Two bunches on what was purported to be Thompson seedless.
Definitely not. They have seeds and a foxy taste. Next year I’ll just harvest leaves for dolmas
Another failure from TyTy. It was to finish an order they already messed up. I’ll never order from them again.
PS, bagging grapes worked great for me this year. These two were untouched while a third was eaten clean by birds. Same with my 45 bunches of Errante Noir. None were touched while all unbagged were eaten.
The smallest water lily I grow and maybe the smallest that exists, this is Helvola. It is hardy, so can stay outside in a small pond. This dainty little beauty is great for a small contianer on a porch or patio. @Luisport was this maybe what I saw in your photo a few days ago?
Wow this one is very beautiful! Mine is not this variety, it a bit biger. But i love this more miature waterlilies.

The Black Ice was definitely far tastier than Shiro.
No pics, but I finished off the last of my Purple Heart a few days ago. Purple Heart was far better than my Nadia which is also all gone now. Purple heart has really impressed me over the last 2 seasons, and I’m currently chip budding more of it to increase my stock.
My early ripening varieties of plums had rather disappointing flavor this season. The underwhelming varieties that I ate earlier this season were Beauty plum, and Northern Sunset, and Spring Satin plumcots. Early to ripen, but not great eating IMO.
the sunflowers opened and topped out at 10 or so feet plus the raised bed height. next year I’ll do these in ground.
The seedlings that from the honey jar seeds I got from @BobVance last spring are setting fruit now. The honey jar seedlings are the only ones that have been blooming continuesly for the last month, extremely precocious plants.
Nice! Hopefully you get to sample a few this year. Some seedlings aren’t very good (small, sour, big pit), but I’ve had several so far which are good enough that I’m watching them to see if I should release them as cultivars.
I think jujubes are in between apples and peaches in terms of their genetics. There’s a good chance of a bad apple and a good chance the peach will be similar to the parents.
I hope I can try them too!

Picked today: Shinseiki pears, Elephant Heart plums, Candy Heart pluerries and a few Brown Turkey figs
Some sort of sunflower. I seeded maybe 8 varieties all over this spring. Then, I proceeded to pull all but this one having promptly forgotten I ever did that and only thinking wtf are these huge, fast growing weeds all over?! Just grade A, over-taxed, mom brain move. At least the sole survivor of my memory failure is pretty
