Well did you get any Peaches to set off of those or did you frost get them all? I’m fighting to keep my newly planted bare root Peachtree’s I’m getting their tips burned So far so good.
Walking onion powder.
I sliced some of the main onion bulb/stalk… And used some of the small top sets that were develpoing and the green shoots on those… dehydrated it all… ran it thru my blender.
Very tasty.. used some to season ribeye steaks last night.

I thought all of my peaches got zapped. But my Red Haven set about 12 that I just discovered the other day…too late of course. PC have gotten to all of them and the clear ooze is coming out of them. I went ahead and sprayed yesterday hoping to maybe save some.
Am I correct thinking this is freeze damage to my apples? Some varieties affected more than others. Seems to be mostly tight clusters, and they fall right off when touched. Not 100% loss, maybe half. That, or my final copper application was too late on April 8th.
Looks like it could be. I have some damage to my flowers that ended up looking similar. I cut them in half longitudinally and sure enough, they were brown in the middle. You could do the same to check some of your buds. If they’re green in the middle then they weren’t dead.
Has anyone ever seen cherries rebloom 2-3 weeks after the first blooming ended?
We lost greater than ninety percent of the first batch of blossoms to freeze, but now all over the tree it is forming new buds on the ends of all the new growth.
I love this common privet. Such an underrated plant. If you don’t cut it as a hedge but let it grow, it is completely covered with flowers each year. The smell is lovely, and it’s a (bumble)bee magnet. In autumn the birds can feast on the black berries.
The tiny cumberland Rosemary that survived -18°f without any damage is now bloom8ng and starting to put on some good growth.
Dragonfruit starting to grow from a couple buds finally.
Interesting!! I have pear trees doing this too.
Way down south things come earlier in the growing season.
2nd year Thomcord vine getting it’s first few clusters to veraison.
First time grafting onto this year’s growth. You can clearly see the older wood and the thick new growth below the graft.
Not a slam dunk this will take, but it’s looking promising.
Royal Blenheim grafted onto Katy Apricot
kimbrough satsuma has held onto quite a few fruit thus far.
i shouldnt have let my early st ann and owari 874 hold its fruit at such small plants. they have put on almost no growth since i got them.
Tiny sugar baby watermelons starting to form.
Bunch of dwarf Orinoco bananas.
Meiwa kumquats.
Seminole pumpkins growing nicely.
found my first open persimmon flower on one of my 2 miss kim trees. I’ve heard Asian persimmons have a tendency to drop fruit in their first year of production, but still hopeful I might get my first fruit this year. Planted them in fall of 2023, sold as 5 gallon pot size from Edible Landscaping.
