Hey all, I just saw on another thread that Fruittreefarm.com (CVN) is out of peach trees for the year. I just spoke with Nick at CVN who confirmed this. He stated that they only produced about 1/3 of their normal peach tree crop this year. He also said that nurseries across the nation were in the same predicament - only producing about a 3rd of what they normally would. Nick said this was because of poor seed germination this year. I checked the Vaughn Nursery site, and they have a message there confirming the same information.
So, if you were going to buy peach trees this year, and haven’t already placed your order, you may be out of luck.
By the way, Nick said the only thing they have left are apple trees.
