Has anyone else made a game like this before? This is better with some friends sadly none of my friends care about plants so I play by myself. If you’re on a road trip and you are bored look out the window and count how many edible, medicinal plants you can find. For me I do like 10 points for a paw paw because they are more rare, a maple, walnut, oak or other really common nuts would be 1 point and fruits like figs, beautyberry, mulberry would be three points. This is just a fun simple game I wanted to share for fruit growers and foragers. Let me know if you have done something like this. It also helps your identification skills.

I assume this is per species, not per individual? You’d get pretty tired of counting serviceberries and volunteer apples next to the road where I live…
im always on the lookout from late summer on looking for wild apples that have good taste/ disease resistance to take scions from. ive found 4 really good ones so far in the last 5 years. 2 have been grafted on my black oxford. i need to go back this april and get the other 2. im always on the look out for fruits that arent normally found in my area. ive found black elder deep in the allagash. its now growing in my yard. ive also found a blackberry growing on the edge of a field. that i now have a patch of.
