A friend of mine just came back from Alabama and is bragging about some tomatoes they bought there… i asked for seeds.
Are these green gage?

These are sold at a nearby town Sylacauga Al.

I don’t know what variety they are. Several varieties are sold as green plums.

The tomatoes were probably from south Alabama or transported in from Florida.

They were in the Lake Weiss area… my buddy has a fish camp there and i used to go just about every year. The most weight i have gained in my life was during those weeks… my goodness those folks can cook down there.

Never fished at Weiss Lake but I have been to Lake Martin many times. North of Lake Martin is another good place to fish Lake Wedowee.
