Found this growing through a briar patch I am about to remove. The large leaf caught my eye.
Is this a Florida Giant Mulberry? That is a full size Laptop it is sitting on.

Looks like a mulberry to me, probably a Morus alba or hybrid. Cannot tell the variety without the fruit.
Thanks for the feedback. Are there other varieties with leaves this large?
Looks more like M.rubra to me
Went to growingmulberry.org and using the descriptions there is appears to be a Morus rubra. Rough surface on top of leaf, no visible hairs and a dull finish. Apparently 10 inch wide leaves are common. I found a much larger tree nearby and will pollard it this fall and graft many kinds onto it in the spring.
