JeNel, my son lives in Romania near Bucharest. I visited in 2017 and enjoyed Poenari fortress, the Citadel, and many other places we visited.
Do you have other apples to compare with Arkansas Black?

Great, nice to hear that. What qualities to compare to? I have many apple varieties. If you mean darker coloured apples, then I also have Black Arkansas and Jeromine Red Delicious. Jeromine has very big, sweet apples with low acidity.
