This afternoon I noticed a number of red spiders congregating on my autumn brilliance service berry leaves. Are these little critters good bugs or bad bugs? Was going to kill them but thought I would ask before wiping them off.
Those are nymphs - not sure what kind, tho
Pretty sure they are aphids.
They look like recently born leaf-footed bugs (cf. Cherry photobombed!, also compare to this magnified image UC IPM Photo). If true, those are terrible, kill them all!

Could be either leaffooted bug or assassin bug nymphs, not enough detail of an individual in the photo to be sure which.
And of course assassin bugs are warriors for good!
