Goumi bush degradation?

I’d be grateful for an advice from you guys regarding the following issue with goumis. I have two goumi bushes next to each other - Sweet Scarlet and Red Gem. The Sweet Scarlet is doing great, and I’ve already collected 20+ lb of excellent plump berries from it. However, the Red Gem seems to have gotten into this degraded state – it has tiny light-colored (almost yellowish) leaves and most of its fruit, while extremely plentiful, is small and hard so not really usable. Could you guys take a look at the attached pictures and give me an advice on how to possibly correct this? The first picture shows the difference in fruit between my Sweet Scarlet and Red Gem, the second picture shows the difference in leaf sizes, and the third provides the difference in overall appearance (notice deep green Sweet Scarlet vs. washed-out Red Gem, although Sweet Scarlet has been mostly harvested already, so there is very little red there).

Many thanks in advance for your thoughts!
