Grafted scion reverse accidentally

I was looking at 10 apples i grafted, and they were all successful. But then I realized one of them i grafted backwards hehe. The green shoots are growing downwards.
Can I slowly reverse the shoot/branch so it grows correctly,
or the scionwood won’t take up nutrients correctly and will dry out soon?
I think I heard the latter occurs, but just wanted confirmation. Maybe I still have time to cut it off and re-correct it.

I believe I read somewhere that it can correct it self as it grows out. I did the same with one of mine out of 70 or so grafts ,but I cut it again and flipped the scion around. If you do regraft it I would try to keep it in some shade until it heals up.
