Grafting Autumn Olive onto Russian Olive?

Good evening yall! Ok so I am reading up on the Autumn Olive versus the Russian Olive. I did not know there was a difference.
So now it seems obvious that i have Russian Olive instead of Autumn Olive. I have ordered some Autumn Olive improved scion.
Can I graft these Autumn Olive improved types like Jewel etc onto my volunteer Russian olive wild seedling trees?
Here is a PDF with good ingo on the differences of the two. Other info I read says Russian is more common in the western half of the US and Autumn is more common in the eastern half.
