Grafting Honey Berry Bushes

Hi, Wizard here
Honey Berries are in the Honeysuckle family. Has anybody tried grafting a Honey Berry on to a regular wild Honeysuckle bush? If anybody ever tried, how did it go?
I know the branch don’t look a like. Don’t know were I get these ideas. If this is a dumb question you can tell me that too.
While I’am on the subject of Honey Berries I’m having trouble cloning them. I’am taking soft wood cuttings in the winter. using Hormodin 2 ,and using the ziplock method. They leaf out and some may flower. One may root out of 20. Anybody Know what’s going on?
Thank You for your time Wizard

The Haskaps or Honey Berries are pretty tough, in my area they are the most popular bush to grow. I was reading the U of S Haskap information and I did not know that most of the varieties do not grow well in warmer zones. I don’t know if you can graft them, I assume you are trying this to increase the number of plants. If I were you I would certainly try, it it is amazing what can be grafted together.

Worth a try grafting, I heard someone say they had a take onto a wild bush.
Have you read the thread here on propagating honeyberry? Maybe you are providing too much heat to the top and not enough to the bottom?

The best time for cuttings (semi-hard wood) is when fruits start to turn color. Some honeyberry cultivars rooting more easy, other - not so.
