Grafting Pistachios?

Maybe you are just missing good pollinator, cannot think of anything else.

That would be the most logical explanation to me. No good pollinator

I don’t know anything about grafting pistachios, but there are two sets of pistachio trees here in northern Utah that have survived at least -15F multiple times (perhaps below -20 F) and produce nuts each year with little to no supplemental water. They were rumored to have been planted by Iranian students at the local university in the late 1970s.

They are a pretty pink color before they dry out to brown. They taste good.

I harvested a bunch of nuts this year and have access to the trees to collect scions if anyone wants some. See my trading post listing if you have something to share. I’ve shared the nuts with two members so far…
