I agree, the genetics do sound very intriguing. I look forward to learning more. The grape-like flavors make me wonder if you could have a Sweet Sixteen type phenomenon on your hands. My S.S. reminded me of cherry candy. I’m glad you are exploring these as it would be a tragedy to lose possibly unique varieties.
