Grape leaf (swollen red stem)?

On one of my grape vines I saw 2 leaves with swollen red stems. I went ahead and removed the leaves. A quick Google search turned up nothing. Any ideas?

maybe a gall? cut them open to see if there’s a grub in them.

Steveb4 and DCinFLX, thanks for the info. I just google Tumid gall and it seems to match. And based on the info I read, it said usually nothing needs to be done since infestations are fairly low level. Again, thanks!

I’d just pluck the infected leaves off if they aren’t too numerous. put in trash.
