Hello, I own this grape vine that has been having an issue with its leaves drying out from the edges and propagating inward which looks like burning:
I live in the middle east so right now is the grapes season, also I have an irrigation system on all my tress which waters daily, right now the weather is quite hot so I don’t think it’s an issue of overwatering but I am not certain, I also fertilized it with 20-20-20 fertilizer when it first started sprouting leaves after the winter.
Something very similar happened last year and by the middle of the season it was almost fully brown
Any help is appreciated
Hello and welcome to the forums.
I have no idea about the conditions in the Middle East so take my words with grain of salt. Also Middle East is fairly large and varied. Can you give a more specific location so we can better find someone here with a cognate of your location?
My general thoughts:
What type of soil or planting medium are you using? Are you mulching? Daily watering sounds a bit too much. Do you have a moisture meter? Hopefully you have soil/medium that can store water so you don’t water each day.
Another thing I can think of is shade. Perhaps you might experiment with providing overhead shade during the hottest time of day. This could also reduce your watering requirements.
Best of luck.
I live in northern Israel, temperatures are around 28C-34C (82f-93f), the tree is planted in the ground (not in a pot) so I don’t know what the soil’s composition however the tree is not small, it’s around 10 square meters (~100ft). also I don’t have a moisture meter but I ensure the top layers of soil it dry before the next watering.
Also after further reading I think my grape has either potassium or magnesium deficiency just judging by images, what do you think?
It could be a nutrient deficiency. How is your water quality? Excess salt in the irrigation water can also cause similar symptoms.

I don’t have a dedicated device to measure salinity but it’s around 300 milligram/L according to statistics in my area which to my knowledge is good ?
So I am leaning toward nutrient deficiency
My thought is that you are using too strong of fertilizer resulting in burn. I only use 10-10-10 and not much of it. Grape vines do better with less not more commercial fertilizer.
