Growing molokhia

I and in northwest Florida. I have an area that has a base of red clay soil. I have been given some molokhia seed and was wonder if it would grow well in that type of soil. The area gets full sun and is well watered. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

I think jute is pretty indestructible. It grew EXTREMELY well for me in very poor construction fill soil in Tucson Arizona

Maybe if you’re really worried about drainage plant it in a slightly raised mound or row

Be sure to plant once the soil is very warm

It grew well for me in Western North Carolina’s red clay soil. Keep cutting it back and it will continue to produce till frost ends it.
