Marta Matvienko, she’s a member here.

I’ve had good luck ordering from her. Nice quality scions and she has some unique Russian varieties.

I’ve only heard positive things from people that ordered from @Marta.

I traded some pear scions with Marta a few months ago. She sent me top quality scions in exchange. She puts in a lot of effort to grow good stock.

I had a very good experience ordering scion for Catherine’s Find goumi and its two seedlings this past winter.

I bought from Marta for the first time this year. She sent me very high quality scions that have all done well. I’m definitely going to be a regular customer in years to come!

This June will be the 3rd time I have used Marta’s site. She always sends extras and the cuttings and scionwood have always been good quality. My first time I had a 100% success rate, the second time not so much but I have a feeling weather and user error were bigger factors then product. I am excited to recieve my next order (loquats, mulberries, figs, carob and surinam cherry scionwood/cuttings)!

The best. Marta’s YouTube channel with the same name is also very informative - she often does taste reviews and shows what the growth habits of the different varieties are.

I got some great cuttings this winter. Will be buying again next winter.

I am so tempted but my rootstock is probably going to be too small for grafting and i dont need even more trees…

I wish my apricot werent DOA and gurneys would send the replacement so i could do the grafting i want lol.

The mulberry is interesting but i think i mhappy with the native ones i grafted. one took and the other… we’ll see. LOL

I second her YT Channel. She posts a lot of shorts showing the fruit of different varieties. It helps to see and hear that info.

I have ordered from her a number of times and even got the privilege to visit her orchard once. I agree with Avofan, very cool and professional, and great scionwood. In my experience Marta has always been quite upfront and honest with her fruit descriptions/reviews. I appreciate that she seems to be trying to honestly educate you on it rather than purely selling it’s qualities so you buy. A real pillar in the fruit growing community.

I have an order pending right now in fact. Figs, fiejoas, and apircots:slightly_smiling_face:

@scottfsmith @mamuang @fruitnut @Olpea these are glowing reviews from our members and the inventory is incredible also. I think we can list this nursery in a few of our pages , eg. nurseries. Have any of you used her for orders in the past?

Thank you everyone for the wonderful information you provided! I’m sure Marta Matvienko is very appreciative. Thank you @Marta for also being one of our members!

She has been listed on the scionwood page for several years and many people have been ordering from her. I have not myself but I’ve only seen positive reports here.

@scottfsmith

Thanks Scott I must have been the only one not in the loop. I order less scions than I once did.
