Yes. It is parthenocarpic. Please reach out to @Mikatani who might be able to help you in Europe.
The good news is that none of the varieties will be killed by cold there. So the only question is whether the growing season is long enough (and, I suppose, warm enough) to promote both ripening and a loss of astringency.
Though I grow H63A and like it, and it starts ripening early, the ripening drags out over many weeks. This is not just my impression; Claypool’s notes say that it ripens “E-M-L” (i.e., early / mid / late). Given your very short season, this may mean that most of your fruit would not ripen or may not lose astringency before frost comes.
For this reason, I’d lean toward a variety that ripens all its crop early within a fairly narrow window. I think H-118 / H-120, which are siblings, fit the bill. FWIW, I grafted H-118 here last year but I have not fruited it yet. I do not grow any of the other names being discussed so I can’t opine regarding other suggestions.
Mohler będzie dostępny na wiosnę w jednej ze szkółek akurat.
Thanks for the info. If I can’t get the right variety in Poland, I’ll consider importing it from abroad.
You’re right, H63A doesn’t seem like the best choice. I think I’ll have to cross it off my list. But it’s tempting with the size of its fruit and its taste
O, to świetna wiadomość.
Oh, that’s great news. Can you tell me which nursery you’re talking about? I guess which one it is, because I found only three offering grafted varieties of Diospyros virginiana. I ordered H120 from Mr. Adam Kuźniar and he didn’t have Mohler. They don’t have this variety on derenjadalny either, and I don’t know if they still sell persimmons. They didn’t have them in their offer for 2024. So basically, the only one left is Mr. Oreszczuk’s nursery. But he won’t update his offer until spring. If it’s some other company, I’m very curious.
If you read the persimmon tree comments by Cliff at Englands Orchard (www.nuttees.net)…
On many of the varieties he says nothing about when they ripen… but on a few he does include details.
His orchard is in eastern Kentucky… in the foothills of the mountains … around 3000 ft elevation best I remember… I went there last fall.
H118 he calls very early, large size… but gives no details on exacty how early it is.
Prok… he says ripens late August
Mohler… ripens early August - early Setember.
Journey (hybrid) is the first persimmon to ripen in his orchard.
I have all 4 of those (and more) and added Mohler and Journey last spring hoping to get some earlier ripening varieties.
I am in zone 7b…southern Tennessee and have long hot season… I think all of them will ripen ok for me.

Dobrze zgadłeś co do szkółki
Oh yes. I know that website. It’s one of the first places I came across when looking for information about D. virginiana. It has very nice descriptions of the varieties, but as you write, it often omits the ripening dates.
The Journey variety looks very interesting, I’ll be hunting for it in the future. If it’s ever available in nurseries.
I envy the climate, but in a positive way We have an area in Poland with zone 7b, but even there the growing season is not much longer than mine, and the summers are quite mild compared to how it looks in the US. We don’t have enough Growing Degree Days to grow more demanding varieties. Especially in the Northeast, where I live. I’ll try though, maybe with the increasingly warmer climate I’ll succeed
I was almost certain it was him. He has a really large selection of various rare plants. It’s a shame I live so far away from him, I would love to visit his nursery in person. Knowing myself, I would buy more plants than I have space to plant them
