I noticed something odd today. This Bald-Faced Hornet was very busily collecting fuzz from my peaches. I assume to use as material for nest building.

@Susu I appreciate your post about leaving them be! I have a large paper wasp population in my yard and they really keep bugs in check. I see the cabbage moths busy laying eggs and the wasps have gotten most of them this year- very little damage done. I do take out nests that are near where my kids play. I’m not sure if i have Hornets here, and maybe I’d feel differently if I did? But the wasps really do mind their business. Well behaved wasps.
