Hot nights prevent apple varities from ripening

For the past three years, my Akane tree has produced apples. For the past three years, none of them have fully ripened. They remain green into November. Usually with some yellow, but the background color is green. ( Right now they are now green and shriveled by the way)

Akane is supposed to be lower chilling, so I’d think heat wouldn’t be a problem. William’s pride didn’t have a problem ripening in late July early August.

Does this just effect specific varieties or is it something that prevents most apples from ripening during warm nights? I’d like to try some later ripening apples but I’m afraid they will do the same thing as Akane.
