How are your trees doing this past Winter?

It was a beautiful 53 degrees here in Omaha today. I got off work early and checking out my Orchard and everything survived the heavy snow Winter. I was surprised that the two 4 years old potted Che that I put in the ground in late October survived the --7F 2 weeks ago. All the Hybrid persimmons pulled through with out any died back. No animals damaged trees. 2020 season will be a good harvest season.

Tony,
In my area, mid Feb is too early to trust Mother Nature. Late March is when I can exhale.

I’ve see too many late nor’easters over the years blow thru in march dumping a couple feet of wet snow breaking branches everywhere.
