Trouble wind, followed by light rain. The rainy season officially begin here. The cat ran off during the strong gust of wind. Called the cat to give it supper, but no call back.

Mid 40Fs today. Not bad, some sun. Rain again later tomorrow into early Thurs.

Next week looks very interesting. A turn to a more winter pattern up here. A hurricane possible somewhere along east coast of Florida. That thing cranks north and phases with low pressure that moves thru the midwest pulling down some chilly temps into the deep south.

Lows are getting down to the 50s, with some nights in the 40s on the horizon. Brasicas are in the ground and the peppers and tomatoes are all established. Its time to start closing up the greenhouse at night and then I’m ready for our winter season.

Snow cancel next week. Looks north and east of here if any falls. Heavy rain early in the week, but the cold doesn’t show up until after. Thru Dec 1 on the GFS…i see no snow locally. Maybe no winter this year?

It’s been average to above average wet in BC since August, an extremely welcome break after 3 years of drought. The rest of November looks to continue the long parade of getting slapped by fall storms from the Pacific. Love it.

The air coming off the ocean has kept things mild. We have had just a couple hard frosts in the area so far this year, and none at my house. Weeds in the yard are still growing. Plenty of fresh mallow to feed our bearded dragon.

Lots of snow in the mountains already. Long term forecast is hinting we might see some hit the valleys in a week or so.

1 1/2” of rain yesterday finally. Wish it didn’t come with the wind but I’ll take the dampening

Snow looking likely after day 7. Couple of shots in the 10 day. My wife made us watch Home Alone last night. It’s that time again.

High 50’s

After this rain storm moves thru the temps drop to 30Fs for highs and 20Fs for lows around here right thru the weekend. Looks like fall will end and winter will begin.

The good stuff is starting to show up in early December out west. Looks like we’ll have snow on the ground for Thanksgiving if the models are correct. After we might start seeing single digits and even subzero stuff in Minnesnowta if we can tap that blob of Arctic air.
