We have many local artist here and the prices are very reasonable compared to what you find other places my wife loves to go to the local shops.
That fog is thick again today. Good for the crops but must get old for those that live under it.
Super cold across Canada right now. -50Fs in the Yukon.
Pattern change? Warm xmas in Texas
Yup. For chill hours at least. Though peach farmers often spray for peach leaf curl this time of year and are unable to due to the temperature inversion.
At least the fog has been burning off in the afternoon where I am, so I get a couple hours of sun.
Checked in on one of the higher elevation vineyards I manage today:
At 900 feet I was above the fog line and about 25 degrees warmer than in the valley below.
17 this morning. Currently -2, on the way to -18ish. Welcome to winter
same. another 5-8in. on the way mon. got 2in. last night. the trail groomer just passed by yesterday. earliest ive seen them out in 10 yrs.
Wow, not sure where today came from. High is going to be around 75 not a cloud in the sky little light wind .I have to get my shorts and T-shirt on to go do a little yardwork. Tomorrow itâs supposed to drop like a rock . Itâs gonna be 25 Monday morning.
-2F here. This type of weather is pointless. Hard to do anything outside when it is this cold although i wouldnât be shocked to see at least one person on a bicycle in this weather. There are some people that are immune to cold.
Good weather for going to the bar

-6 for a high today. Windchill around -30. -20 tonight actual temp. Warms up next week for a few days.
SW FL is starting to look good
damn! i dont blame you. just started on a bottle of cherry bounce from about 3 month ago. very tasty. used christian brothers brandy.
Monday only day highs below 70s and lows below 50s for the next 10 days (as of right now). Its been perfect garden weather. Not too hot, not too cold. I might actually get some good tomatoes before frost.
We have snowbanks on our road already, itâs not even winter yet. Clearing snow every day for the past week+. Fingers crossed the early and constant cold will freeze over the great lakes, that will end the daily lake effect snow. If this keeps up last years snow will seem light.
What a beautiful area during the summertime . I made it to a little south of you around Jamestown two years ago just loved it. However, couldnât handle the winters plus I would be alone the wife would say have a good trip.
-2 windchill, got a big dumping of snow yesterday and this morning. Regretting not refilling the tractor gas tank before this because the driveway definitely needs plowed. Itâs still snowing and weâre debating heading in to church or not, lot of back roads that are last on the plow list. Opened the chicken coops and they just stared at me like lady, no thank you! Greenhouse maintaining temps above 55.
Iâm always shocked how flat western NY is, donât get out that way often. NY really has very different landscape throughout the state, from Western NY, the Catskill Mountains, the Hudson Valley, the Great Lakes and the Adirondacks, itâs all very different from each other.
Central Alabama doesnât often go down into the teens. Tonightâs low prediction is 18F.
I have 2 new potted plants that I donât know how cold tolerant they are (Oh Yes Muscadine and Shortcake Raspberry). I will bring those inside for tonight.

-10F but the sun is out. Can really find where the leaks are in a house on morning like this. My slider is leaking right at the bottom corner. Even a little ice built up.
because theres no snow under our deck , thats where the most heat loss is despite having 5in. blue board under the trailer skirting. ices quite a bit at -0.
I donât have air intake on my woodstove so its just grabbing room air for combustion which tends to create drafts in the house looking for any crevice to the suck in outside air. I do keep the damper all the way in most of the time.
In the sunshine it really isnât that bad out there. I was out in the yard for a while in just a hoodie and was fine. The sun is something we havenât seen lately so very welcome.
