How long do peach flowers stay open for pollination?

My young peach tree has started blooming for a couple of weeks now, and it has been raining for the past 2 weeks pretty much. I’m assuming that means the flowers won’t get pollinated, with all this rain. I was hoping to start hand pollinating once we say good riddance to this rain. But I’m afraid the flowers will start aborting before then.

Our bees are lousy too. They only ever go for cucumber flowers.

Has it been windy? That can help.

For peaches 7-12 days.

I don’t think pollen is viable when wet, is it?

Flowers can shed water fairly well, but there is likely a limit. If there is a break in the rain, might as well try to be a bee.
