How long will apricot graft last on peach, Nanking, or Myrobalan?

Can anyone tell me how long an apricot will last on Peach (Prunus persica) or Nanking Cherry (Prunus tomentosa) or Myrobalan (Prunus cerasifera)? Is it going to last at least a few months?
I have scion from Debbie’s Gold, Afganistan, Early Iran. Rootstocks are what I have, that the deer haven’t been after. I am not sure I can graft to any plums. Late, I know, but I have the scion and would rather try, and then move next year to something better. Or layer it now. Older well-stored apple and pear grafted ok, I don’t know if I can store this.
I searched other threads and know the the Afganistan and Early Iran won’t like peach.

Good question. I have moorpark apricot on peach and it’s doing well after 2 years. I think Peach may be your best bet (despite borers), since myro is said to be weak at graft points. More info in link below.

Apricot can also be grown on Myrobalan plum rootstocks, although weakness and breaking at the graft union has been reported after high winds. As a result of this problem Myrobalan rootstocks should only be used in very heavy or wet soils.

Edit: I just realized I also have some apricot (Flavor Giant and Orange Red) on Myro and an “aprium” on Mari as well. So far so good.

I have Orangered on Myro as well, it did fine. I am assuming that more modern apricot will do ok, but I don’t know about the Iranian types. I dod see the linked info, maybe more commercial types?

@franc1969, I would think you’d have better luck grafting than rooting. My anecdote is that I’ve stuck many dormant cuttings of prunus into the ground and never saw any rooting occur. I agree apple scions seem to be viable the longest–I’ve also stuck them in ground and cambium is green for months, even until summer.

If you only want to keep the scions alive and deal with it later, why don’t you graft onto your existing apricot tree?

I am trying to save it, don’t think that it will survive after deer and weed whacker. Another casualty of torn and frozen shoulder.
