How to deal with first year growth

I’m very novice with growing fruit trees, I’m reading books and articles online but I believe the growth of some recently planted trees is going faster than I am
So every time I see growth that I don’t think will contribute to the permanent final shape of the tree, I feel like it’s waiting for me to save the tree from wasting its resources there.

So what what is the common practice here please? I’m attaching a couple trees to look at and here is the weather like during the year. The land is in an arid region in North Africa.

Here I am referring to all the side growth, should I prune? The weather is about to get super hot in a few weeks.

How about the lower branches here?

Thanks!
