Hydroponic strawberries not growing

Hi there, I am trying to figure out what is going wrong. My strawberry plants look great but the fruit is not growing. Help!

Welcome to GrowingFruit!

It appears the you are growing a variety that produces small fruit. I am (purposely) growing 3 types of them.

What variety? Could be poor pollination?

Welcome to the forum. Are you growing them inside or out? If inside you may need to hand pollinate them - sometimes a fan is enough inside for pollination, but often not. But it could also be pH. Do you know what the pH of your hydro solution is?

I wonder if they are getting too cold? I do not usually see the seeds sprout on the fruit, like in your picture, unless the temps are getting quite cool at night. Did you recently move them from outside to in?

I second check the ph. In hydro nutrient lock from high ph drift making the salts insoluble is the most common problem. Always eliminate that first.

Common on alpine cultivars.

Hi there! What PH would you suggest for strawberries ?

Here’s a resource to help you with your nutrient solution parameters (they recommend pH of 5.5 to 6.0):
