Locally here I’ve met a few really great folks from the USDA. However reading their front page on their website just several months ago it was sickening to see what they were focusing on. I just checked now and it’s much different in a good way.
Hopefully everything works out good for the employees that are there to help and are qualified to get stuff done. I’m sure much funding will be cut or stricter for a while. I guess not too many cared about the self destruction of everything going on for decades. Even our own health but maybe they were busy listing to the bought out media and looking at their phones to see it. In California you can’t miss it.
In the mean time this is a highly politicized thread no matter what side you’re on “right or wrong”. Wish you all abundant crops this season.
so much so they found money being laundered to terrorists that hate this country, through it, among many other bogus payments. mainstream media is silent as usual. they are bringing usaid back to what it’s supposed to be doing and getting rid all the woke, dei corruption riddled through it. i say get er’ done. its long in coming. change is never welcome but sometimes necessary. i think after the smoke has settled it will all be for the better. cockroaches are hard to eradicate. it will take some time to fix it. nothing like this has ever been attempted before so we need to wait and see.
If we’re sharing anecdotes about Federal employees, I’ve never had a positive experience with NRCS personnel and the USDA continues to send me questionnaires about my “farm” that doesn’t exist. Then they send me threatening letters about not completing said questionnaires for my non existent farm.
If you ask me, I’m pro making huge federal job cuts. Just my $.02 of course.
I’ll also throw in my opinion on Elon Musk since he was brought up. The guy is a genius on par with Edison and Tesla. The USA is lucky to have him (and I hate electric cars, ha)
The US government, including republicans, has been funding terrorism since its existence. We give money to rebel groups to fight governments we oppose only to fight those same groups later as terrorists. Nothing new here. Trump does it too, he just picks a different agency to take the money from and a different terrorist group to fund. Like every president before him.
