yes that is typical.
I use Nelson R2000wf in the pasture, very even coverage
R2000 for under canopy watering in trees
They are much improved over impact sprinklers for half the cost
The impact sprayers can be adjusted to provide even coverage with some work.
Run the screw in to break up the stream and pull the flapper down.
This will result in significantly smaller circle but can be more uniform.
