I can’t tell which one it is. Found in United States West Virginia The leaves are all the same shape. No lobed leaves
I vote for the linden.
No, I’m wrong. According to leaf venation it’s the red mulberry.
I am almost positive it’s Morus rubra. I’ve got a giant one in my back yard and all its leaves have no lobing. Young seedlings around it do exhibit lobing. Also the slightly shaggy bark and spreading small tree form point towards red mulberry over the upright large tree habit and tighter bark of the basswood. Both are great trees though.
Linden/basswood leaves (Tilia americana) are generally asymmetrical though I’d guess the extent can vary. Those don’t look like basswood to me.
@Smashsquatch @driftless thanks i really hope its a red mulberry ive only ever found alba an hybrids
You should reach out to Weston Lombard
This tree appears to be as pure M. rubra as one can determine from photos without holding a leaf in my hand.
All my basswood trees have rows of sapsucker holes in them
