Recently moved into a new house and have a massive well established blackcurrant bush, I hope.
Can anyone confirm this is black current? How do I tell?

Black currant does not have pink blooms. That may be a flowering currant, but I can’t tell for sure.

Yeah I was going to say probably flowering currant. Hard to tell from the photo.
Did you try one of the plant identifying apps? Flora incognita is one I use sometimes.

Yes, that’s a flowering currant, Ribes sanguineum.

It will be full of hummingbirds if they visit your region.
