I planted three Meader bush cherries on May 16th. They seemed healthy at the time, but now they appear to have Cherry Leaf Spot Disease. The pictures are of the plant that has it the worst and which was the first to show symptoms, but the other two also have it to a lesser degree.
So, is this cherry leaf spot or is it something else? What should I do? Do I need to use copper fungicide or are there fungicides that won’t build up in the soil the way copper does?
The plants also don’t seem to have grown much if at all since transplanting and I’m not sure why. The potting mix was 1 Part Miracle Gro Potting Mix, 2 parts peat moss, 2 parts of a peat/perlite mix, and 0.5 parts pine bark mulch. The plants are in 5 gallon fabric pots. They’ve been watered but I haven’t been as consistent about it as I should be and they haven’t received any fertilizer yet. They were in part sun and moved to full sun yesterday.
