On a Beurre Fouqueray scion. How is this variety for fb?

I would cut off the top and use that. Would be perfect for cleft grafting. If i see what i suspect is disease i cut it off or discard it.

Well I’m trying the whole scion with a cleft, but I shaved the black marks off. Wrapped the whole thing in parafilm, so we’ll see. Just found… “Moderately susceptible to fire blight” (https://npgsweb.ars-grin.gov/gringlobal/accessiondetail.aspx?id=1436079).

You might give it a 20% bleach / diluted with 80% water bath as well. That kills most things.
