Is this pecan scab?

Sorry for starting a new topic, but I didn’t see anything that fit the bill. Is this pecan scab? I found this roadside tree, which is definitely a “wild” pecan. It’s full of nuts. I’m always looking for highly scab resistant/immune pecans for the deep south. Some great cultivars have been found throughout the years.

I don’t think it is. Google pecan scab pictures. There are usually spots on both leaves and nuts.

That’s perfect. As healthy as could be.

That looks healthy. I have scan and by this late in the season you will see dwarfing of the nut and large patches of scab on the nut.

If scab free in Georgia it could be just the variety you are looking for.
