I was planning to visit a jujube orchard while visiting Xian China in October but it didn’t work out, but I did go to a fruit and vegetable wholesale warehouse where I saw vast quantities of jujubes being sold.

Nice pics! Thats a lot of jujubes.
When I was in Xian a couple years ago I only had one evening to walk around; I went to 3 grocery stores. What struck me was all the jujube’s were medium size, between Sugar Cane & Li in terms of size. I couldn’t find anything the size of Shanxi Li’s. They tasted great, but seemed to be one variety.
Did you see different types of jujubes’s being sold?
I bought from 4 or 5 different sellers. They all had different fruit. One seller had larger ones, closer to Li in size, but most sellers had medium size fruit. The Chinese don’t focus much on size. They want flavor and the best flavors were found in the medium size fruits. Most of the fruit I had was very crispy and less dense than most American jujubes.
