Seed starts of outdoor annuals were pointless this year until a week ago when the loooooong marine layer subsided. So I’m giving these a try and maybe we’ll have a nice long summer to match.
In the tray:
Chilis “Sugar Rush Stripey” and “Highlander”.
Echinaceas “Blue Boy” and “Cheyenne” (perennials).
Sweet Peas “Chocolate” and “Watermelon”.

Good luck - and it’s almost time to start thinking about starting fall veggies. I have almost no chance of getting a spinach crop in the spring before bolting, but the decreasing daylength works in my favor in the fall.
