Its a bit late for this now but hopefully I can better prepare for next year. How does everyone here control June bugs? Sadly my area has a horde of them and I cant control the grubs since they are not from my property alone. I have seen suggestions of a drowning trap using dish soap and mashed blueberries, has anyone tried this? I currently use an insecticide spray but that requires each of the little buggers to eat some of a leaf.

I would be interested as well. My tiny nursery took a beating this year. They showed a strong preference for my apple trees over everything else I have there.
Here’s what I accidentally figured out this year and it seems to be working great. I’ve been drowning more June bugs every day than I thought I even had around, although they’re finally slowing down.
