Keecrisp Blueberry

Does anyone know more of the Keecrisp blueberry variety? Supposedly a very crisp and sweet blueberry with a vigorously upright growth habit and is a cross made from our forum favorite Sweetcrisp. Having a hard time to even find this plant for sale. Any info would be much appreciated thanks!

It appears that this farm might carry plants of it, you could try to call them https://www.corneliusfarms.com/varieties

Georgia, per the website

Thank you so much Alan! I was able to get into contact with the sale person and yessss they do ship!! We can basically fill out the form on their website and she will respond back with the sale order receipt and you will then have to mail in a check as payment because they accepts no other form of payments. They will do this only till the end of March and resume once more in September!!! She also told me any amount from 1-100 and no more haha.

I must be stupid, but I can’t find their location page to fill out the form. Can anyone help?

It’s on the contact us link. Just give her your name and email. Give her the information of how many and which variety you want and she will email you back with an amount+shipping. Oh and your name and shipping address.

Click ‘more’ on the top, and then ‘contact us’, there is a contact form for making inquiries and a phone number right there, as well as an e-mail address.

and @Natdcfruit you are welcome.

I ordered 2x each Kee Crisp and Farthing. They didn’t have Meadowlark or Patrecia in one gallon.

Looks like a good one to me…however i think the early frost might get me on this one.

Awesome krismoriah! I watched all of their videos and so excited to try it for ourselves here in TX. Got the sale receipt back from them and time to mail in the check hehe.

I was an early grower and lover of Sweetcrisp. It never caught on like I thought it would. It was low on yield. Hopefully Kee Crisp will be even better with bigger berries and more yield. Hopefully with the same crunch. The other ones I tried that were supposed to equal Sweetcrisp were a disappointment.

I got my four plants today. Two each of Kee Crisp and Farthing. They are nice plants for the money but shipping was a bit weak and no ID that was readily apparent. No real damage but some people won’t like seeing the way mine arrived.

I think I’ll put them in plastic pots ~12-15 gallon size. I need to decide on growing media. Have peat moss, perlite, and pine bark fines. I’ll post some pictures tomorrow of the plants

Did you call to make an order?

I use peat moss, sand, pine fines and pine mini nuggets. I started pretty tiny plants last year and was able to give to my neighbors some very large healthy plants… all of my potted and in ground are doing great so far on this with nice crops last year. I do use a handful during pre bloom of triple 13 with sulfur. YMMV but this works for me here.

(my local feed store said that all the canadian mixes and things that i buy will be going up in price)… so not sure if its worth stocking up etc.

I filled out the form on the website, got an invoice via email, sent them a check for ~$96, and they sent the plants.

I may use peat moss and pine bark fines. That would allow me to save the perlite for starting fig cuttings.

That’s awesome to hear! I just mailed them the invoice earlier this week so I am ecstatic on receiving the Keecrisp! Did they also send any type of tracking number once shipped? Here in the dry, windy, and hot summer months of the TX panhandle, I love to mix my blueberries potting soil with 1 part small pine bark, 1 part peat moss, and 1/3 of perlite mixed with de…and it has work quite well for a few years now.
