Kocide/Bonide Copper

I misplaced my bag of Kocide. I did find some Bonide Copper
which is copper sulfate Kocide is labeled copper hydroxide which as I
understand it has copper mixed with calcium. Do they have the same efficacy?
Or do I need to source some Kocide?

Depends which Copper product – for example the liquid contains no sulfur: http://www.bonide.com/assets/Products/Labels/l811.pdf

No calcium is present. https://kernred.co.kern.ca.us/kern-agcomm/products/KOCIDE%203000.pdf

If you follow the dosage instruction – yes. The Kocide is higher concentration so you use less for the same dosage. Also the Bonide Liquid is a “soap” which is a plus in some environments.

Thanks for the reply Richard. It’s the Bonide powder. Dosage is I believe
half to three quarters of an ounce per gallon for apples. I’m going wild here that I can’t
find my bag of Kocide, been working off the same bag for 10 years! Oh well, but hey
50 bucks is 50 bucks!
