Have anyone planting the Korean long eggplant 
. I found it was easier to grill them than the regular chubby ones.

I grow Chinese string eggplant which seems very similar to Korean long eggplants.
I’ve never had so much as a speck of disease on the fruit or leaves until the very end of the season. They’re incredibly productive, way tastier than store bought and much easier to cook in general. Definitely one of my favorites!

I am growing a similar eggplant as well. Way more productive than any of the other varieties I have tried to grow (Sicilian, some other rounder varieties). Similar to your experience, I find that they are super easy to cook and remain really tender so it doesn’t need much in terms of cooking. Really sweet as well. I probably have twelve or so ripening within the next week. They are a new staple in my garden! Nice looking plants!

Never grown the Korean variety specifically but the long thin types always outperform the chubby ones for me. Way less seedy, less bitter, and they handle the heat better. My Chinese long ones are always the last plants standing at the end of the season.
