Largest Sweet Cherries?

I’ve got a couple limbs of Utah Giant growing on my Rainier tree. None of the former yet. I know both are large, but what in your experience is the largest sweet cherry?

For me probably Selah. It’s also very firm. But so hard to grow, due to my short winters, I haven’t had one in several yrs. I still have the cultivar. I’ll get some again one day. It’s what people were hoping for from Nadia. Beautifully shaped similar to Nadia.

Utah giant is the largest cherry I grow. It is also very firm, has outstanding flavor and does not double hardly at all. The only cherry I like slightly more is Bing, which is smaller, not quite as firm, doubles often, but has more intense flavor. Rainier is also large, but not as large, firm, tasty, as Utah in my orchard. Interested to see what others largest cherries are!

How big are the UT Giants? Last summer I was in Vegas and ran into a lady who got some of the biggest cherries I’ve ever seen from some friends or family in Ogden, UT. I assumed they were UT Giants, but don’t know for sure since I’ve never seen one before. She let me have one to try. The sucker was about as big as the palm of my hand!

Wish I had a picture, they are almost, maybe, twice the size of a small to average cherry. You will love them, they are prone to cracking on some years though. Also don’t judge them first year, they get bigger and tastier! Those cherries you picked up in Vegas from Utah were most likely Utahs, especially if they were extra firm and delicious, Utah is very proud of there giants, claiming to be better than Bing! I slightly prefer Bing for flavor but for all the spurs and doubles I get, I get to eat more Utahs. Next year I will make a point of getting some pictures!
