Leaf color change near graft

I’m just curious as to this. I tried to graft a May Pride Peach to my Red Baron Peach but I don’t think I got it right. It looks like the limb grew out of the graft and now the leaves are burgundy/bronze color unlike the rest of the tree leaves. Is this normal and what is the cause?

SCould you please post pictures?

I don’t know that Red Baron peach has burgandy leaves.

I misread your post the first time. Flat Wonderful is a donut peach that has red/maroon leaves.

Sounds to me like you could’ve grafted the wrong scion by accident or by receiving mislabeled wood. Spice-Z has burgundy flowers and if you were to graft it to a peach those are the results you would get.
