I was looking over the vines this morning and you can already see a few leaves turning indicating fall is starting soon. When I looked deep into the Lane vine I saw these eyes looking back at me. Nice surprise to end the picking season.

The little things - yesterday I was surprised by the way a blossom stem was bobbing. Turned out a bumble bee had landed on it so forcefully! Just kind of fun. Also the finches that flock from the sunflowers every time I go into the garden.

I was weeding around an Elliot blueberry yesterday and found a tasty clump of five nearly black blueberries. For the most part I didn’t get a blueberry crop this year, so that made it extra special.
