Supposed to be a Violette de Bordeaux fig. I’m old and didn’t crawl underneath it to check it out. But I broke some of the leaf tip off and it has milk. From what I can see from above, stem looks to be growing from the plant.
Have you seen figs with 2 types of leaves like this? I’ve only seen the fig leaves we all know. Never seen one like this.
I was going to say yeah a VDB. They actually have 3 types. My friends CdDG also does this. One branch is single lobes and the other has fingers. Don’t ask why.
That’s what most of the wild fig leaves look like in Sochi, you might have a grafted fig, and you might have a kind that the leaves vary a lot! I’m no fig expert, but I grew a few.
