I have aphids on a few of my trees. Just a few aphids, at least right now, since the leaves I checked had less than 5. What is the best means to deal with them without killing anything else I’d like to have stay around?

Pinch them with your fingers.

get some ladybugs. I had aphids problem on my cherry tree last year. I saw some ladybugs were attacking the aphids, I left them all alone, in about two weeks, the baby ladybugs start to control the aphids

Not that low impact. I’m not willing to inspect the hundreds of leaves on my tree individually for things the size of a grain of rice.

With numbers that low wait and see if the predators and such will hold them in check. If they get out of hand try something like malathion.

Neem oil works great for me. Couple of sprays and aphids are gone.
