Just wanted to share a pic of this beautiful little tree loaded with blossoms this spring. Tree is about 4’ tall and you can see its twin in the background of the first pic.
i have it also. the original tree was eaten by voles but 2 more came back by the roots. ones the size of yours the others a little smaller. mine are just starting to leaf out. ill have to look closer to see if i have fruit buds on it. mine came from HoneyberryUSA.
I got mine from honeyberryusa as well. The scent coming from the blossoms is wonderful. I was mowing a ways downwind from it and had to stop and follow the scent to see where it was coming from.
this the 1st time you get fruit from it?
I got a few fruits last year but looks like it will try to set a bunch this year.
mine put out about 20 blooms. looks like they set. going to finally get to taste them
I would suggest treating them like the romance series cherries in terms of ripeness, instead of a cherry like Evans Bali. Lutowka Rose gets very dark when fully ripe from my experience last year.
