Medlar and quince pics

Would love to see your medlar and quince tree pictures. I love the form of these trees! I searched and found a few in the archives. I don’t care if there are leaves or not.

I have planted both…but for other people. Have my hands full with other fruits.

Here is a Pineapple Quince tree from 2013; the form distorted somewhat by the fruit load. Semi-dwarf rootstock; planted circa 1994

Very lovely!

That is gorgeous!

Oh looks great

Wow already!

Where can one purchase a Medlar tree? I don’t much source for them online searching…

Raintree and Burnt Ridge sell them, but they are out of stock this late in the year. I want to grow them from cuttings, but they were not a priority this year.

Perhaps nuttrees.net ?

Cricket Hill Garden / treepeony.com still has a couple varieties in stock (Puciu Mol and Sultan). I bought mine from them a few years ago (a couple Puciu Mol and a Breda Giant) and am very happy with how well they’ve grown, especially the Puciu Mols.
