I was surprised to see this video from 6 years ago about “Mega Kiwi”. Supposedly it comes from Greece. Has anyone heard of this or know more about it? Does anyone have it other than this one grower?

I’m curious if the increased nutrients are for the same volume or based on the claimed increase in size. They didn’t really look larger to me in the processing plant, but packed in the clamshells and hanging next to the kid’s head they did.
I have not seen it elsewhere, nor in groceries around here.
I don’t mind the fuzz so much, so bigger alone does not mean better for me. I actually rather like the argutas more for flavor. And, of course, no fuzz on them anyway. I only peal the fuzzy ones because I’m too lazy to wash off whatever they may have been exposed to in their journey to my plate.
Still, neat. I always like the posters with all the various sized species arranged together for comparison. I think I’ve seen that there are a couple species bigger than the average chinensis/deliciosas we are used to seeing.
I would definitely grow it if I could. Looks like I might have to wait a couple more years.
